You may not be jerked around by millionares, but you're being jerked around by sports writers (or the morality police as I call them). People like you are the reason we hear about this non stop on ESPN. Same deal with Tiger.

Mac doesn't give a shiitt about the HOF. He's a private type personality that doesn't live his life for others. others being other than his family. There really are people like him out there. I have a brother in law that's the same way. A good guy, doesn't hurt anyone, only tells you something once and if you like it ok and if you don't ok.

Whether or not he could have hit 70 dingers without the roids is arguable, he hit 49 as a rookie and that was a lot more than anybody else did to that time. He had injuries and used the roids so he could play again. Remember, roids were illegal but there was no big stink about them back then like now. It's easy to make the correct choice looking back in time but not so easy when you are the one back there doing it.

I have always liked Mac and went crazy when the rumors started about him coming to the Cards. He really gave me a couple years of flat out happiness when the team was flat as he77. He apologized and as far as I'm concerned, it's over and I'm glad he will be back as hitting coach.

As for the media, the can kiss my wrinkled up old azz. I never did care for them or their B.S. Gammons and the others let A Rod, Pettitte and the others walk away from their shiitt without batting an eye but they're going to roast Mac.
